This AHA course teaches the importance of providing high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children and infants, using an automated external defibrillator (AED) and is intended for healthcare providers only such as Nurses, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, Respiratory Therapists, Physical Therapists, Pharmacists, Occupational Therapists, Physicians/Residents, Certified Nursing Assistants, Clinical Technicians, and students in or entering any medical field.
Initial courses available for first time learners; Renewal courses available for students renewing their certification.
A two year AHA completion card is issued upon successful completion.
There is no required pre-course work.
BLS PROVIDER also known as Healthcare Provider CPR is the class required for all healthcare professionals. This includes professionals currently working in healthcare as well as students pursuing a career in the healthcare field. If you are a CNA, Dental Professional, EMT, Firefighter, Nurse, Paramedic, or Physician this is the class for you!

To receive your BLS completion card you must successfully complete all of the following:
Part 1: Complete HeartCode® BLS Course fee includes the online course only, skill session sold separately.
Part 2 and 3: Hands on skills test session with an AHA BLS instructor. A certificate of completion for HeartCode® BLS must be presented at the time of your skill session to receive your completion card. Course fee includes the skill session only, the online course is sold separately.
After you complete the BLS Heartcode Online, select a date to complete your registration for the skill session.
