BLS Training: (Basic Life Support)

  • The AHA Basic Life Support course, also known as Healthcare Provider CPR, is intended for healthcare providers only. This includes, but is not limited to, professionals currently working in the healthcare setting as well as students pursuing a career in the healthcare field. If you are a CNA, a Dental professional, EMT, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, RN, MD, Pharmacist, Clinical technician, Physical/Occupational Therapist, etc. this is the class for you!The Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR class teaches the importance of providing high quality CPR and covers the following:
    • 1 & 2 Person Adult, Child, Infant CPR
    • How to use an AED (automated external defibrillator) and special considerations
    • Unconscious and conscious choking for victims of all ages
    • Cardiopulmonary emergencies and special resuscitation situations
    • Breathing barriers and bag valve mask (BVM) use

 

A two year AHA completion card is issued upon successful course completion. There is no required pre-course work.

Do you like to learn at your own pace? Do you need an BLS completion card and you don’t see a class to fit your schedule? Complete the ONLINE HeartCode® BLS eLearning program at your convenience. To receive an official AHA BLS completion card, add a hands on skill session with our highly recommended BLS Instructors.

  1. Complete your Online AHA BLS Course (fee paid directly to AHA)
  2. Print your certificate of completion
  3. Contact  us at aclspluseducation@gmail.com  to schedule your skills session. We will send you a link to register and pay your skills fee.

Closing Location

We regret to inform you that effective December 31, 2024, we will be permanently closing the physical location of our Longwood AHA training site. Thankfully, our experienced instructors will remain available to offer all courses live at your offsite location for groups of three (3) or more students per class. Please follow the instructions provided under “classes” on the toolbar to request a class, and we will work tirelessly to accommodate your request. We are also happy to offer ENA (TNCC/ENPC), and basic EKG courses both virtually or live at your offsite location for groups of three (3) or more as well.
