ACLS Training: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- The AHA ACLS Course is designed to teach providers the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult cardiac arrest. Because the ACLS course covers extensive material in a short time, you do need to prepare for the course beforehand. The ACLS course does not teach ECG rhythm recognition or pharmacology and completion of the ACLS pretest is required. ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, airway management, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. This course is intended for healthcare providers, students working or planning to work in an acute care adult environment or individuals whose position requires certification.
- Initial courses available for first time learners; Renewal courses available for students renewing their certification.
- A two year AHA completion card is issued upon successful completion.
